Did the batteries leak ? If so clean off the contacts with small file and clean the posts . If not sometimes buttons get pushed in and the remote will not respond . thus draining the batteries. If that is not it take it to your local shop and they should have a little tester card that will show if your is putting out a signal. takes less than a minute for them to check. Also i have to ask as i have seen this a few times make sure the batteries were installed correctly . Good luck

MY REMOTE DOESN'T WORK AFTER I CHANGED THE BATTERIES. WILL I HAVE TO GET A NEW REMOTE? AND IF SO, WHICH ONE TO WORK WITH MY TV?

Just changing the batteries would not cause the remote to go bad. check the way you have put the batteries in, put a neww pair of batteries, see the terminals inside the remote are clean? If it does not help then you can choose a dedicated remote for philips tvs that does not need programming. These cost $5 to 15.

I've changed the batteries in my Philips Universal Remote and I still cannot get it to change. What should I do?

heres a handy little trick to determine whether your remote control is working. Get hold of a radio and switch it to AM band receive (any frequency). Hold the remote control near to the aerial and press any of the buttons..you should hear a squeeling noise from the radio. This proves that the remote control is working and that the TV is at fault. If you dont hear any noise from the radio, your remote control is faulty and you can obtain a new remote from the link below.

http://www.espares.co.uk/search/remote-controls/philips/p/1090/128?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=philips%2Bremotes&utm_campaign=Remote%2BControls

If you hear squeeling from the radio during the remote control test, then the TV infra red receiver board is faulty, and is located behind the small clear glass lense on the front bottom front casing of the TV. Hope this helped :)

The battery alrm lis always flashing and the

Your problem may be due to corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera which can prevent the full power of the batteries from flowing into the camera. Try this free fix before you do anything else: remove the batteries and wipe the camera contacts firmly with a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of the batteries, place them back in the camera, and give them a good charge (assuming that you're using rechargeable batteries). This cleaning clears the problem about 90% of the time. If it doesn't work for you, the camera may have a problem that requires professional repair.
