Question about Toshiba Tecra M2 Notebook
This Is a New post regarding The M2 Tecra Laptop.
Having Scoured The Internet for a Solution, The Only Service Offered is Called A turnkey. Whereby the repair-shop offers a service for you to ship your M2. And have the security Chip(s) removed and replaced with new.
Now i would,nt have a problem with that, but when they,re charging $300 plus shipping, thats a bit overboard, i think.
Does anyone have a posible solution for this ?????
*** Please Note:- This Is not A desktop Computer**** You cannot remove the CMOS Battery, to Any Avail. A Paralell Jumper Or USB Jumper Does,nt Work either. My Question for solution is Basically This. :- having removed The Hard-drive, I can Access The Files On There.
Where would i find, any txt docs or similar relating to the Bios-Password.
And if i can find it, Will it be in an unknown Format.
Password On Boot, Any Solutions please post here.
The Winning Solution Of Whoever Cracks The solution To this Will Be awarded £50.00 Or $100 By Myself, in the form of a pay-pal Or Cheque/Postal Order Payment.

I have EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM. A mate changed his password after a few beers and now can't login. He paid $800 for his laptop and last 3 weeks it's been sitting on my dining room table waiting. Wish it was as easy as a cmos reset , battery drain. Any solutions that work please reply... :)
