ERecovery error Burning INT15 error eRecovery must be terminated Hello. My problem is that i erased by mistake (i recognise it was big mistake) all ACER ASPIRE programs. To be exact, Empowering Technology Framework Launcher, with it`s utilities(eRecovery,eLock,eSettings,etc...) I went to Acerglobal site(Europe affording area,Panam,etc...)and i downloaded empowering technology framework, with some utilities only, but i really couldn`t find the appropriate(for my model)eRecovery utility,so i installed other eRecovery(for other model !),to reset to factory settings my model.I followed all instructions(POST BIOS,etc...) and now, every startup, coming message: "INT15 ERROR.eRECOVERY MUST BE TERMINATED!" .Have in mind that Acer Support Team is somehow dissapeared!(no reply!) Sorry for this big text, but i need either Acer appropriate program,or suggestions-proposals(Any help is acceptable). THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE. acer empowering technology has been removed from my computer

Acer....gotta love it...
You aren't alone when looking for help with Acer's framework technology.
What you're going to want to do is use the Msconfig utility to work around this problem. To start msconfig click on Start, select Run, type msconfig in the Run text box then click on OK.

Next select the Startup tab when msconfig opens. Look in the list for eRecovery Service and uncheck it. Select Apply and then OK when done. It will pop a message that a restart is require for changes to take effect. Restart the system.

From what I've read, this may or may not completely fix the INT15 Error eRecovery must be terminated error message. If it doesn't, go back into msconfig/startup and look to see if PCMService has been unchecked. If so, recheck it, select apply and OK, then reboot.

This was all the info I could dig up so I'm not 100% sure if the suggestions are guaranteed to work.

Good luck and let us know if it helped

I need to restore my acer to factory settings

Hi,

You can restore the computer back to factory default,to do so, follow the below steps: Turn OFF the computer, now as soon as you hit the power button, keep on holding "Alt" key & keep on tapping "F10" key, i.e Alt+f10, it will open the recovery console, select full factory restore and follow onscreen instruction. NOTE: This will erase all the datas on the computer.

You can also create a set to Recovery disk from the recovery partition, to do so

Start Menu> All Programs> Acer erecovery management> Click Create Factory Default Disk, if you receive any error code or unable to burn the disk, please contact Acer Technical support at 1 800 816 2237 and order for an Recovery Disk.

Thanks and regards,
Jitha

Hi, I have an Aspire T660, I have deleted by mistake the eRecovery file , is there a possibility to get a copy so I can make an image of my desktop system using PQSERVICE partion. Thank you in advance

HI Andre,
I have only found the download page for this unit HERE. There are some selection boxes there, then go to what you wish to download, yet I don't find the eRecovery in the listing. You could contact Acer via CONTACT page and inquire as to the availability or a workaround for your situation.
Hope this helps in some way. Please rate and comment, Thank You Joe

Acer Aspire 5920 problem

Your best play is to restore the machine to the factory settings. To do this, power up the machine and immediately press ALT+F10. From there you will enter Acer eRecovery Management which will give you the option of returning the machine to the factory settings.

WARNING:
This will erase everything you had stored on the machine!! ie data files, pictures etc...

Long beep error on startup

try cleaning up the copper terminal of your memory card with a pencil eraser, do it carefully by avoiding contacts with the chips or I.C. carefully swipe the eraser on the copper terminal only and if your sure that it is already clean, carefully wipe the teminal with a soft cloth again avoiding contact with the chips. if the problem occurs again, buy a new memory card.

Hello,

I am a Roxio support agent.

There is an article to resolve general burning issues here:
http://kb.roxio.com/content/kb/General%20Information/000008GN?set-locale=en

If this does not help, please let me know which version of Creator you are using. Also, please describe what errors you are seeing and how you get to them.

I WANT TO ERASE MY HARD DRIVE ON MY SYSTEMAX DEST TOP COMPUTER. WHERE CAN I GET A DISK

Hello rnoble000

By "where can I get a disk", do you mean a boot disk that you can use to erase your hard disk?

If that is the case, the utility called "killdisk" will do the trick. You can find it HERE.

***** A WORD OF CAUTION *****
Be very very very sure there's nothing on the hard disk that you want to keep b4 you run this utility.

Also, if you're going to run the utility off of boot media (floppy diskette or CD-R disc), I strongly recommend you (temporarily) disconnect any other hard disks on the system in order to avoid making the mistake of erasing the wrong hard disk.

Please, let us know if this response was helpful for you or, of course, if you have more questions, etc on this topic.

Thank you
BJ
