I have been reading peoples suggestions for the proper amount of coffee grounds to use for 36 cups. I am confused. There seem to be two different amounts consistently offered. One group says 1 teaspoon per cup. The other group says 1 tablespoon per cup. There's a huge difference between a teaspoon and a tablespoon. So which is it?
The nice thing about standards is that there are so many of them!
The West Bend parts page for this model is here, and there's a link to download the manual. You can see what the manufacturer recommends.
I do coffee by weight. The ratio of 10 grams of coffee for 6 ounces of water seems most common if you look at coffee websites. Make a couple of cups worth, try different amounts, and then scale up to a full pot when you find what works best for you.
Hope this helps. Thanks for using Fixya!
