I have followed all of the instructions in the manual. My computer tells me I am connected to Skype but my phone says PC Not Available. Don't know what else to try. Please help.

Yes, I have the same "PC NOT AVAILABLE" problem. The Thompson CSR from India refused to tell me what the latest version of the software was, insisting it was "Confidential". It sure would be nice to have a current download that would not cause my screen to go to 4 x 6 inch display each boot up.
At last the CSR said turn the phone and computer off and remove the batteries for 10-15 minutes, then reconnect... seems it was 4 minutes to 5 pm in his area and he wanted to go home. The manual gives similar advice, but for just 2-3 minutes "rest" time.
He took down a case number and told me to call them back. Skype should use their muscle to bring Thompson / GE to the service line. At the very least, take away the indication that the product works as "Skype-Ready" or 'Approved for Skype'. Like my GE Coffee Maker - these are the last two GE products I will buy.

Same problem... says "PC Not Available", yet it does answer the REGISTER page. I rate the GE phone as a ****-10

Phone quit connecting with base. tried re registering the phone with the base and resetting the base, but no luck. Phone indicates "out of range" even when right next to or in the base. Has anyone had this problem.
