My pc acer keybrd just went stpid on me

At the usb port you have an item plugged into it that receives signals from the keyboard and mouse, push the connect button, if not go straight to your mouse, turn it over and push the connect button.
If you had to press the connect button on the receiver and the mouse if it had lights on it that was blinking it will stop if not check batteries.
Then and only then press the connect on the receiver then the keyboard and not the other way around. If there was a connect button on the receiver and you did this operation the lights will stop blinking and all should be sweet, if not replace batteries.
Hope it helps.

Volume control keys on MS comfort curve 2000 keybrd not working

Restart the HID Human Interface Service. To fix this problem yourself, follow these steps:

  1. Open Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in for Services.

In Windows Vista or Windows 7, click Start, type services.msc in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.

In Windows XP, click Start, click Run, type services.msc in the Open box, and then click OK.

  1. In the list of services in the Details pane, double-click HID Human Interface Service, and then make sure that the Startup type is set to Automatic. Then if not running start.

Worked for me J

S510 Logitech Keyboard & Mouse Connection

Normal 0 Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud

S510 Keyboard Problem, Keys Dont Work, Everything Else Works,Ect-Mute

I had the same the problem. The cause was a corrupted encryption code. That is why only worked the keys that don't require encryption.
1) Install the Logitech software and restart.
2) The software will tell you to press CTRL-ALT-F12. This procedure resets the keyboard encryption and tells you to enter a new code.
3) If you already had the software installed simply press CTRL-ALT-F12 and follow the above procedure.

Keys not working!!!

got something stuck under the keyboard keys? Turn the keyboard upside down and give it a good shake.

Check the connection in the back of your PC - make sure none of the pins are bent if it isn't USB.

I had this problem for a very long time as well. Turns out this is an encryption issue. It's off-balance. You need to reset the encryption, and here's how:

On the LEFT side of your wireless keyboard press and hold Ctrl+Alt, and press F12, then release all three buttons. Now push the Connect button on your Wireless Receiver, then the connect button on your wireless keyboard. Now press Esc. Try it. See if it works. It did for me.

How to program my new Keyboard cordless desktop S510

When I bought my s510 recently I couldn't use the function keys even with the software that came with the keyboard and mouse.

I had to actually download new logitech software for the s510 which allowed me to use the function/extra keys.

Navigate to:
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard_mice_combos/devices/145&cl=US,EN

On the right hand side of the screen you will see 'Support Center' below it click 'Downloads,'
From there you can choose your OS w98 and language and download the software you need to get your keyboard working the way it should.
