It sounds like you have a lens problem or it may be as simple as a dirty lens. If the lens is not dirty and you want to repair it yourself there is a guy in South Carolina who has lots of parts for all the Sony Cameras. I bought my LCD from him for $39.00 plus shipping and it works perfect. I put it in myself and saved a ton. If you buy the part from him he sends you pictures of him taking the camera apart so that you can repeat the process when you install it. I think his email is gerald.ray@aa-ark.com

Not working always show "turn thepower off and on

I'm sorry that the Camera is displaying the error message. "TURN THE POWER OFF AND ON AGAIN" displays on the LCD screen when the Lens Mechanism is stuck or when affected by any malfunction. If turning the power on and off again does not resolve the error message, try doing a power reset. Please follow the below steps to perform a power reset.

·Turn off the camera.
·Remove the battery pack.
·Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
·Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.
·Reinsert the battery pack.
·Turn on the camera.

Also try initializing the Camera if you're able to access the Menu items on the Camera. The Initialize option will be available underSetup or Main settings Sub Menus.

If the issue persists again, service is required. Pleaseclick hearto locate the service center near your area.

Thanks for understanding. Please let me know if your require any clarifications.

When I turn the power on, the screen shows "turn

This type of problem can be caused by either a lens issue, or power problem. The following web blogs delineates things you can try to get the camera working again. They say about 50% of the time they can be fixed trying their suggestions:
http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2007/12/fixing-lens-error-on-digital-camera.html
If none of those things helps, try these steps:
http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2007/11/simple-fix-for-dead-cameras-that-wont.html
If the camera still doesn't work, you can take it in to a local repair shop, but get an estimate first. Repair can be high, and justify just going ahead and buying a new one.
Good luck, and hope this helps.

PS3 doesn't show a disc image on screen but when it finally does show the disc image the game does not work / it freezes

Hi, let's try to understand which is the problem first: 1 - put a movie dvd, blu ray or a music cd in your Ps3, if it can be read then there are many chances the problem is due to the game disc you're trying to load. This is also the easiest problem to solve: just try to clean the disc surface with a common glass cleaner and a soft tissue, then try to run it again. Check also if there are scratches on the surface, in this case you may need to replace the disc or you may also try to go to a local retailer and ask if they have a scratch removal machine... with few dollars they'll bring the alive again :) 2 - if your console just read some type of disc ig. only music, or only dvds, and some others not, then it's possible that there's some dust on the lens. You can try to clean it using one of those cleaning cd, with few dollars you can get one at your local best buy or similar shop. 3 - if your wont read anything, you may try to access the recovery menu, doing as follows:
Press and hold the power button on the PS3 it will power on then power off. When it's off press and hold the power button again until you hear two consecutive beeps. When you hear the double beeps immediately take your finger off the power button (if your system turns off before you get a double beep just try again and hold the button, it should double beep the 2nd time you try) It will ask for the controller to be connected via the USB cable, Turn on the controller and you will have access to the menu. Be aware that you might lose all of your previously saved data.
Other than that I'd call Sony technical support. Let me know if you need more help. Good luck, Peter_Rei

Turned off incorrectly, now it won't show desktop

Dear,
you may try to use the PS3 recovery options.
The PS3 stores a copy of firmware drivers on the hard-drive and will reload any corrupt files. To access the recovery menu, do this:
  1. Make sure the PS3 is turned off
  2. Press and hold the power button on the PS3 it will power on then power off.
  3. When it's off press and hold the power button again until you hear two consecutive beeps. When you hear the double beeps immediately take your finger off the power button (if your system turns off before you get a double beep just try again and hold the button, it should double beep the 2nd time you try)
  4. It will ask for the controller to be connected via the USB cable,
  5. Turn on the controller and you will have access to the menu.
Please rate my solution ++++ if it was helpful, or feel free to ask for more information. Thank you
Peter_Rei

I have Nokia 9300, but while accessing the Received call list it shows "Out of Memory" Error". If any body have solution or way that How to format Comunicator and Re install it's OS.. Please Tell me..

On the idle screen press *#7370# and the phone shall ask you weather you want to restore the phone to factory defaults? Select Yes, it shall ask you the security code (the default is 12345 unless you have changed it) enter the code and click on Ok. The phone shall restart and when it turns back on, type *#7780# and follow the same procedure again. After this your phone would be restored to the factory settings which is same as formatting it.

You have probably dropped the camera. If you are brave enough to open the camera up you can put the rollers back on track. Not a difficult problem to solve.
