The directions for changing the headlight light bulb in all cars are near to same . but all car models are not the exact same, so there may be a few differences based on your particular car. But this.instructions may properly guide you about the directions to replace the head light bulb in your car.
The instructions are as follows :----
1) First of all open the hood of your car and put a spot light or flash light onto the back of the headlight. Look towards the far corner side of the hood, the headlight is located in a space mounted to the far sides.
2) In some of the car models there is a back cover for which you will require a screwdriver to unscrew the back plate to reach to the bulb. properly locate the screws and unscrew the screws using the proper size screwdriver.
3) Then remove the back plate.

Note: In some car models there will be a wiring component connected usually by plastic clips, so detach the plastic clips and then pull wiring to the side. Then remove the back plate.

1) Remove the Old Light bulb which will be easily visible. Then remove old light bulb by screwing it to the left slowly and carefully.
2) You can get the new light bulb from local auto store and purchase the bulb exactly that matches the one your car model .
3) Then insert the new light bulb in reverse by screwing to the right, and secure in place confirm bulb is properly connected and fitted and not remained loose.
4) To test whether the bulb is properly connected. Just try turning on headlights and make sure it lights up.

5) Then plug wiring component back in if your model has that. Then put backplate back in place , then insert the screws back in and screw in with screw driver tightly.
6) Then close the hood properly and check out head light again.it will work properly.
That means your work is done.
This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya

Removing low beam bulb on 05 subaruoutback

Whether they become damaged in an accident or simply burn out over time, your Subaru Outback's headlights may eventually need to be replaced. Fortunately, once you've purchased the right replacement bulb for your model year, performing the repair yourself is relatively easy. These instructions only apply to Outback models made after 2000.

  1. Undo the clips on the air intake ducts using a screwdriver and remove the duct from the engine compartment (driver's side bulb removal only.)

  2. 2

Loosen the secured clip on the washer tank with a screwdriver and slide the tank horizontally to allow easier access to the headlight assembly (passenger's side bulb removal only.)

  3. 3

Turn the bulb cover counterclockwise and remove it from the assembly.

  4. 4

Disconnect the headlight electrical connector and undo the assembly retaining spring.

  5. 5

Pull the old bulb directly out of the socket and replace it with the new one. Press the retaining spring back into place and reattach the electrical connector.

  6. 6

How do you replace the headlight on a 2002 Daewoo Lanos

Hi there, together with providing you the solution to the problem, I also took the liberty of going one step further in giving you steps on how to remove the headlight bulb.

  • Find the hood release handle and activate it, the hood should pop open.
  • Once the hood is popped open locate the hood secondary or safety latch and release it. Then finish opening the hood.
  • Locate and remove mounting clips for any plastic shields that cover the headlight lens mounting screws or clips.
  • Some headlight bulbs can be replaced by simply grasping the bulb socket behind the headlight lens and turn it counter clockwise to remove it. This will expose the headlight bulb.
  • If the headlight bulb socket is not accessible the headlight lens may need to be remove or obstructions behind the bulb removed to gain access to the headlight bulb socket.
  • To remove the headlight lens remove all mounting screws and clips that hold the headlight lens in place.
  • After the headlight housing has been removed from it's mounts, release the headlight bulb from the headlight lens housing (turn counter clockwise) the bulb will then come out of the headlight assembly. Once removed, visually verify that the replacement bulb is exactly the same as the failed bulb before to ensure a proper repair.
  • Clean the headlight lens free from all debris to help maintain the seal from the bulb to the lens. This will keep moisture out of the lens.
  • Install the new headlight bulb by turning the retainer ring or bulb clockwise.
  • Re-install the headlight lens housing and reinstall electrical connector.
  • Re-install plastic covers.
After the job is complete turn the ignition key to the "on" position and activate the headlight switch. Observe the newly replaced headlight bulb to ensure proper operation.

Glad to be of help!!!

Passenger side headlight assembly removal, is there more than 2 bolts, if so where

You can replace the headlights on your Crossfire easily by yourself. headlight image by Carbonbrain from Fotolia.com

When a headlight burns out on your Chrysler Crossfire, you do not need to rush to the repair shop to have it replaced. You can access the headlights in your Crossfire from within the engine compartment, allowing you to change the headlight yourself. The Crossfire uses an H7U headlight bulb, which you can find at auto parts retail stores or at a Chrysler dealership.
Difficulty: Easy

  1. 1 Open the hood of your Crossfire to gain access to the headlight assemblies. Press down on the tab on top of the light assembly cover. Remove the cover and set it aside.
  2. 2 Pull the electrical connection free of the bulb socket. Press the spring clamps securing the bulb into the light assembly. Pull the bulb straight out of position.
  3. 3 Insert the new bulb in the same position. Ensure that the spring clamps secure the bulb. Press the electrical connection into place.
  4. 4 Replace the light assembly cover and press it into position until it clicks, securing it in place. Repeat the same process on the opposite headlight if required. Close the hood and test the headlight operation.

6. Reattach the intake hose (passenger side only) and tighten the bolt. Snap the plastic intake cover back on.

Headlight replacement o5 trailblazern 200

Hi El, Since it's on the passenger side you'll need to remove the air filter housing & filter to get to the housing for the bulbs. Right behind that bulb housing there are two rubber coated caps (those caps are where the bulbs are located) that you'll need to remove. They can be tough to remove so it should be ok to use a flat head screwdriver to GENTLY pry the caps. Just make sure you are GENTLE with it and once it is loose use your hand to turn it counterclockwise about 1/4 turn. Gently pull it out then unplug the wire harness to it. **** IMPORTANT*** Like most headlight bulbs, DO NOT TOUCH THE NEW BULB WITH YOUR BARE HANDS. Halogens are ruined by our natural oils and it will make your new bulb burn out extra fast. Also: The outside bulb should be the LOW BEAM and the inside should be the HIGH BEAM. Let me know if you have any other questions and I'll be happy to help.

Passenger headlight has burned out. how do I change it?

If you open your hood and look at the back of the headlight you will see a rubber cover. Remove it and pull the electrical connector off. There is a clip that holds the headlight bulb in place. If you remove this you will be able to pull the bulb out. When you fit the replacement don't touch the glass as it will blow almost immediatelt. If you do by accident, clean it off with meths or surgical spirits.

Headlight replacement on a 2006 Hyundai Sonata

I'll assume you want to change the bulbs, not the headlamps themselves. I've listed the steps below to change the bulbs. Both sides use the same procedure
STEPS TO REPLACE HEADLIGHT BULB
1. Remove the dust cover from behind the bulb that needs replacement.
2. Unplug the bulb.
3. Taking note of the bulb orientation, unhook the bulb retaining clip from the tang that holds it in place.
4. Remove the bulb.
5. Install the new bulb in the same orientation and clip in place.
6. Reconnect the electrical connector to the bulb.
7. Reinstall the dust cover.

Alternatively, if the bulb is burned out and you have less than 60,000 miles, you should take the car to the dealer and let them do it for free for you.

Replacing headlight

Disconnect the battery terminals, remove the fuse box cover and unbolt the square coolant tank on the passenger side of the car and move it off to the side.

For the driver side headlight, turn the wheel to the passenger side and remove or just drop inner fender liner. About a dozen little plastic rivets and 2 metal screws holding on mudguard. You really don't have to unscrew the screws holding the fender liner to the bottom of the front bumper you can just pull it down to access the back of the headlight.

DO NOT disconnect any of the hoses on the coolant tank or try to remove it from the car, just put it to the side.

Now you've got room to get your hands into where they need to go. You'll notice that there is a circular plastic cover on the housing behind the low beams. These each will unscrew and pop off. Once you take these off it is a simple matter of removing and replacing the bulb.

The bulb is held in by a metal latch. It is a wire that looks like a loop off a paper clip. disconnect by just push down and inwards (toward the middle of the car) on it and it'll pop up. Pivot it up out of the way and the bulb will pull right out. (actually, they both push towards the left if you are standing in front of the car looking at the headlights)

Replace the bulb and make sure you note how the old bulb was installed as it will only go back in one way. ALSO make sure you do not touch the bulb itself as the oil from your skin will cause the bulb to have hot spots and burn out sooner.

Reverse the process for the install making sure you get the metal tabs to latch in properly and make sure you secure the circular covers back onto the headlight housing. Also make sure you securely reattach the coolant tank and put the fuse box cover back on.
