Question about Brother MFC 240C All-In-One InkJet Printer
Suddenly my printer was giving 'unable to connect' messages. I checked all connections, restarted the computer and printer several times and reloaded the printer software. Now, to install the machine, I am being asked to: choose the Brother machine I want to install. It will not allow me to put in the machine name on this screen unless I select "custom" to install the machine manually. This screen will not accept any information I put in. HELP! And thank you!
Do run the aggressive (usb) driver remover which is part of the install cd. or download from brother home page. read instruction when and how to use this little program.

WHEN YOU FIRST INSTALED THE SOFTWARE THE DRIVERS FOR THE USB WERE SAVED IN C:/WINDOWS/SYSTEM32
WHEN ASKED FOR DRIVER BROWSE TO THAT DIRECTORY AND THE DRIVERS WILL BE INSTALLED.
