Where is the reverse switch located on a 99 malibu

one of two places.1 top right /left corner of radiator 2 on the main cyclinder head mounted on a main radiator hose.it will have two small wires coming from it.this model changed in 99 so im not sure.adrian,,,

hand brake to earth and you dont need reversing unless you have a reversing camera, handbrake wire must be connected or you wont get pic

try any audio shop . its called an install kit. and as long as your unit has a/v input you can wire the ps2 right to it

it should be marked IPC/BFC ACC 10 AMP FUSE.

the pink wire is suppose to be for the brake switch, so you can watch an image while the brake is applied, you can simply secure it to an earth instead so you can have constant imaging. As for the reversing wire, this is if you have a reversing camera, it will show a display of what is behind you, if you don't have a reversing camera, just block the wire off.

check idle, for a 3.1 it should be about, 750 rpms,

YOU HAVE A DEFECTIVE LIMIT SWITCH IN MOTOR.YOU WILL HAVE TO REPLACE THE WIPER MOTOR.

They are bolted down at four corners. Slide seat all the way back to locate them. Be careful if you see a computer box because you do not want to actuate the air-bags.

u need to switch function screen to dvd screen. Button is on front of unit to scroll through screens.
