Question about ViewSonic VA1703wb Monitor
I recently encountered a problem with my VA1703wb. artifact keep showing on the screen, even during bootup a green line is showing across the screen.... i thought it was a video card problem but when i disconnect the lcd to the computer an tried turning it on.....their is still the green line.....sometimes its gone but recently it keeps on coming back.
Your Display cable (inside your monitor) needs to be replaced.
I would look on ebay to try and find the part and then take it to a local tech to replace it for you as I would not recommend anyone take apart a monitor (LCD OR CRT) if you had never done so before.
OR, Buy a new monitor.
