Indesit Dishwasher DI67.Cycle phase lights(prewash and wash)flash

.When selecting a wash cycle, nothing happens.Machine doesnt fill with water and makes no noise. After several minutes the prewash and wash lights flash.I have checked the manual and it instructs to call the engineer.Any suggestions as the call out and repair charge would almost buy a new machine?

Update.Cleaned filters and emptied water from machine.Drains clear and machine started the cycle. It now stops and both lights flash again. When opening the machine is filled with water.Heater is working. It appears to not be draining. Is there such a thing as a drain valve or something I have overlooked.

Same fault as above, followed your guidelines, leaned and shook machine forward and backward, seems to work a treat.

    Hi,

Your actual drain valve is the pump.

Located on the underside of the Machine.

this is usually connected to The drum via 1 Rubber Hose.

To the pump, then another Rubber hose to the outlet water/waste pipe.

If the pump has any debris/badge/coins/hairgrips Or bobby Pins et,c it will not Spin and empty the water. this is all relevant, to the machines Cycle of events.

Hi ive an indesit ids105s uk dishwasher thats over filling with water and then the dry and end light flash continuosly while the machine drains the water . is this a faulty pressure or flow meter?

Hi
Ok lights 2 and 3 flashing is a time out filling.
Its not filling up in time so the machine error codes out and you will then get the flashing lights.
First off make sure the water tap is fully turned on.
If thast fine then pull machine out and make sure the fill hose isnt kinked up at the back.
If it looks fine then take off the fill hose and aim it into a bucket and turn the water tap on.
Make sure theres a good water presure there.
If there is refit the hose and retry the machine again and see what happens.

Dishwasher filling up then stopping

is it going into the wash or just filling and thats it? if it fills and does nothing straight after it is probably the wash motor is jammed or seized. if the d/w starts to wash then stops it may be the heater is faulty.

Hi there

I have had this problem before. If your dishwasher is not level water collects at the front. Try tilting your machine forwards. Be carefull though as water will come out of the bottom. Once you have done this and reset your machine it should be ok.

Tilt your washer forwards. Water will leak from the front but once this has cleared your dishwasher should be ok again. I paid an engineer to come and tell me this. If your dishwasher is not completely level this can sometimes happen. Hope this helps.

Dishwasher problem

My dishwasher Indesit DI67S will not run on the number 1 cycle. It will fill and then when that programme finishes it jumps straight to the drying cycle missing all the rinses out etc. If on the number 2 programme it goes all the way through but then doesn't dry. I've also noticed that the water doesn't seem to be heating up much and certainly isn't drying. Is this the element or something else? Once its reached the drying cycle the light for this just flashes then I have a job to try and reset the machine. It can take endless attempts. Will switching the machine off at the mains solve anything or is it the element?
Thankyou

DI 67 S fault

Try to tilt your dishwasher forwards. Be aware that water will leak out of the front. Once this is clear it should work. I paid an engineer to come and tell me this. If your machine is not completely level it causes it to over fill and after a time will not work. Good Luck

Start flashes and will not begin wash cycle

My dishwasher Model is 665 15891790 and the serie #FG3907905. After programing my dishwasher and pressing the start button, it fills with water, but when it is due to start the sensing light comes on. I have notice that the ring under the watering arm on the bottom of the machine seams to be cracked. Could that be the problem for the machine not starting its' cycle. Thank you.
