Re: pc problem 2 with beep when it run
Hello Jake Ponce, You could power your machine down, and open the case. Then making sure you are grounded to the case (to prevent ESD damage), I would reseat all socketed hardware and plugs, such as Memory and graphics cards, PCI slot devices, etc... Unplug and re seat everything (especially anything that has been manipulated recently), then close the case and power it back up. It's worth a try and could very well solve your issue. Good Luck.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

This means your PC is doing a Thermal Shut down, the CPU is getting to hot, this means the fan is not running at all or fast enough, or is dusty causing loss of cooling to the CPU.
To fix this open the case look at the fan if its running as it gets louder I would say in your case it is, you need to remove all the dust from the fan and the heatsink I use a small USB fan from poundland (UK) this should stop this error.

No Display, so does it seem like the computer booted up and is running except that the Display is black? Do you hear fans running, disk drive spinning, blinking lights or beeps?
I'm going to assume that in your case since you mentioned a red light that it is not booting up all the way. Therefore your problem is probably with the memory, the video card or some other motherboard issue.
Remove the Power Cord, Remove the Battery, Remove the cover that houses the memory on the bottom of the laptop then remove one of thememory chips. Set the chip aside then try rebooting the computer. If it boots, then you know the memory chip you set aside is bad so mark an x onit with an ink pen. If it fails to boot then move the chip to the nextmemory slot and try rebooting. If it fails take the chip out and set itaside, then put the other chip in and try booting it in both slots. If itboots, just to verify that the chip set aside is bad, mark an x on it and putit into the open memory chip slot and try booting.
The moitors did not turn on at all after the power spike? If that is the case, probably some electronic components were burned due to power surge damage. I advise you to contact the manufacturer for repair and your local electricity supplier. The beeping noise and the red blinking could be indication that no monitor is plugged in.
there are many things that can cause this, first obvious causes would be bad ram, dead mainboard or hard drive.. i say dead motherboard due to the fact you say there is no post beep on startup, easy way to tell, remove all the ram, and turn it on, if it squeels at you, you know the motherboard still at least is somewhat operational, next thing try replacing the ram.
