Question about Cameras
I installed my imagemixer 3 software on my windows XP computer and i have my Hitachi DZ-HS300A plugged in through the usb port and it is turned onto hdd mode but when i go to import it my camera isnt on the list of importing devices what am i doing wrong? how do i work this thing?!
In XP SP2 you should have just plugged in the device to a USB port and XP probably would have picked it up and recognized it as a drive and all would be as simple as you probably expected. I as a rule don't use the third party software provided with USB devices because of issues as you are experiencing. It could be that the Imagemixer 3 software was for pre XP SP2 Operating Systems and XP is conflicting.
The fix could be as simple as using a third party uninstaller such as Your Uninstaller 2006, or 2008 to completely uninstall the Imagemixer S/W and letting XP detect and configure your device as posted above.
I hope this helps, and Good Luck.
