Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My computer will not boot up. it says AHCI bios not installed. it is a dell 530 s inspiron can anyone help please. it also doesn't show to have cd rom but added A drive which it does not have it wont boot...

This can happen on some models. Turn the computer off and unplug the tower. Press the power button to discharge any stored power. Plug it back in and press the power button. You will probably get this message again but let the computer sit. Windows may be working in the background trying to start back up. Let it go for like a half hour to an hour. If it does not start you may have to do a system restore or a repair install to make windows start correctly again. If waiting longer does not work for you then let us know and I can give you instructions on how to continue the repair process.
Hope this helps... Dale

Dell 5150c shuts down orange flashing light

It was a faulty or worn out power supply fan. I just replaced it and the computer has been running for about an hour and a half and still no shut down. The system temperature is stable. It runs quieter now. New fan cost 13.88CAD.

Dell PowerEdge 1600SC Server problem

I had the same thing happen in a 600SC about a month ago.
Replaced the memory, and it fixed the problem.

It did the same hang. Would run fine for any where from a hour to 3 hours, and then quit (hang). And I got the same message. Talk to them and it was a short in the memory module, so some times it would read the entire stick, other times it would "not see it", and that would lock the OS.

My dell laptop still freeze

if its windows XP try doing a MSCONFIG:-
startup_tab_xp.gif Here's a good example. On my computer I have a mess of MP3s and I listen to those MP3s with a program called WinAmp. For some reason or other, WinAmp decided that it should always be running on my computer even when I am not using the program. That's silly. To prevent WinAmp from automatically starting every time I boot my computer, I ran MSCONFIG and unchecked "WinampAgent." That's it.
Remember, disable only those programs that you recognize and don't need to have running all the time. When in doubt, leave it on.
5. Click on the OK button.
6. A message will pop up telling you that you must restart your computer before these changes will take effect. Click on "Yes" and your computer will automatically reboot.
restart_box_xp.gif 7. That's it! Your computer should now boot faster and crash less.
And if you ever want to turn on any of the startup items you disabled with MSCONFIG, just run MSCONFIG again.

when your system restarts you will get a prompt that you have used systemconfiguration utility
do remember you put a chkmark in the box which says do not show me this message in future and then click ok.
