Hidden control panel not accessible on dishwasher

I have recently installed a Kitchenaid fully integrated consol S series dishwasher model # KUDSO3FTPA with a cabinet panel. The problem is that with the panel lined up correctly with the other cabinets the hidden control panel is under the counter and there is not enough room for my fingers to work the controls. Is the front panel supposed to be installed lower than he other cabinets or is the panel supposed to sit out further into the room than the other cabinets?

No thats correct installeation of machine, its meant to be a "hidden" control. simply open the door, choose your options, press start and close door.

I just got one like this but I can't "open" the door? Is there a trick? I can't find the answer in the users manual either, lol

Why is inside of cabinet wet after dry cycle?

Need to use rinse aid for proper drying. If using rinse aid, might have a bad heater. Run it through a cycle, open it half way through the dry cycle and touch the heater with a wet rag. Should sizzle if the heater is good.

WHERE IS THE FUSE ON THE POWER SUPPLY

There is a thermal fuse on the main control board. Turn off power. Remove screws securing the console. On this model you may have to remove the door panel also. Install thermal fuse kit, W10402110. Follow the instructions in the kit. If you don't replace the wires along with the fuse, it will fail.

Control panel unresponsive

open up the inner door shell after powering down the unit from the power source, wiggle and remove and replace all ribbon cable connections on the electronic control panels and any other connections you can see, moisture corrodes these connections after years and removing and re-installing these will sometimes wipe off any corrosion for a better connection to the machine the screws are on the inside of the door to access the control panel
