I have got a lenevo 3000 n200 but its showing rescue recovery 4 and it cant boot.on the bottom left its showing press the lenove care button to into setup but i seem not to see the button.Please advise its urgent

If you have a rescue disk or a System Disk that came with the laptop, use that and try to recover the system....boot using that and do a recovery....

Hi, During the boot at the THINKPAD SCREEN press the Thinkvantage key ( Blue button ) it will launch rescue and recovery and allow you to reboot factory. This only works if you did not corrupted/deleted the rescue and recovery hidden partition on the HDD. Otherwise you will need the rescue and recovery CD to proceed. IBM/Lenovo support should be able to provide you the CD. Might be a defective hdd aswell, in this case to make sure you can run a DFT test, www.google.com -> Look up for " Test DFT " ( Drive fitness tool from hitachi, will make an hardware diag if hdd failure - error code 0x00 = everything fine, other code = Issue - You can look up for accurate code explanation on hitachi website ) thanks and have a nice day J-

try to log on safe mode if this not work u need to format ur laptop and install a new windows

That is because someone has either removed, formatted or overwritten the partition on which the recovery software was stored. You'll need to find CDs of the software you want, starting with the OS, and install that way.

all the drivers the laptop requires are on the lenovo website under Support and downloads. make sure you download the correct drivers, launch the downloaded files to extract them in a folder, and then install each one. after all of the installs restart the computer.
note of advice: be carefull with the bios flash upgrade. if you're not an expert, rather don't install it, some of the versions are not really appropriate for the n200 and cause big problems.

I think your system has crashed so you need to do fresh operating system installation.You have mentioned that there is no partitions, it is sign of system's crash.
