Question about Akai PT4298HD Rear Projection Television
Hey guys, I've been reading around this website looking for a similar problem but have yet to find one so here goes: Just moved. Hooked up the TV cable (don't have a digital box). Screen comes on, sound OK but picture flickers in greyish color. Looks as though 2 pictures are on at once. Turn the TV off. Wait until red lights off. Turn it back on. Same thing. Repeat. Same thing. Repeat. Same. After about 4 or 5 tries everything is fine. Realized the cable was going through a splitter and connected it directly from the wall. Worked immediately. Day later, same problem! Weird. Very frustrating seeing as how it takes about one minute between tries. Any ideas?
Try using different inputs besides the RF input. Connect your PS2 and DVD player using component inputs. With two component inputs, there's no reason in the world not to do this.
