Question about Mitsubishi WS-55613 55" Rear Projection HDTV

TV won't turn on - no power

Hello, I have a 1080 series projector TV from Mitsubishi. It recently turned off on me. It's as if no power is going to the tv. I checked the fuse by the power cord and it looks ok. Before the tv went out, I noticed the on screen volume indicator flicker. There are no blinking lights or anything. Any ideas?

Slinteriors, I am sorry I have not written back. I will try to look for the fuses this weekend. My company is moving buildings and I haven't had the time to look. But I appreciate your feedback and I will check out my tv very soon and rate your solution.

    Thanks

My exact model is the ws55807. I managed to find the fuses. They are not the normal fuses I amused to seeing. They are little green fuses ceramic. They look fine and don't look burned or broken. I couldn't find the chip fuses.

    Thanks!

Update: My TV had a fuse locator sticker for 10 fuses. Only one was a typical glass fuse I am used to seeing.

Thats the V23+ chassis. There are numerous fuses to check. There are 9 regular fuses they are F9A01,F9A02, F9A03, F9A04, F9A05, F9A06, F9a07 &F9A08. Also there is another Fuse F5A00, F9D00 and there are 2 ceramic chip fuses numbers F9B00 and F9B02. Let me know if you need further info.

you will need to check the ceramic fuses with an ohms meter as they wont show any sign of being burned. just check them for continuity to verify that they arent open.

On my Mitsubishi 1080 series the sound won't work with the satellite! I'm afraid I messed something up with the menu set up. Any suggestions?

Did this just happen or were you tinkering with it. Eliminate all connections between the incoming signal and TV. Hook it up straight to the TV. If you are ok then go step by step with your components to reach sound.

65" 1080 mitsubishi tv model# WD-65733 wont turn on

It is probably the wiring. Try buying a new power cord.
If not than it is just malfunctioned.

Can not turn off the vchip channel lock on hd 1080

hello try this Bypassing the V-Chip Lock
After you set the lock, you need your
passcode to view a V-Chip locked program,
view the locked TV, cancel the lock, or enter
the V-Chip lock menus.
If you forget your passcode, you can
view the locked TV without entering your
passcode. This is done by pressing the
number 9 and QV buttons on the remote
TV control at the same time, when your
password is requested. This process
temporarily unlocks the TV.
When entering the V-Chip Lock menu, this
process deletes your old passcode and
prompts you to enter a new passcode. good luck

Can't loate bool;et for Mitsubishi HD 1080 Series Medallion

it is usually in the Audio settings, sometimes by the CC settings, if you go to the TV and enter th menu from the set, go thru one at a time until you find the spot to turn it off, it is under options or Menu on the remote also, there maybe an SAP Option on the remote itself, but you may have to press another key first like a "Function: Key.
I hope this helps some, if so please give me a good (fixya) rating. Thanks and have a Blessed Day

most likely the convergence Ics have failed. Check F9a04 and F9A05 pico fuses if they are blown you will need to replace them and the convergence Ics.They are located on the center board they are green and look like resistors without the color band. see the photoa193b32.jpg82b89b8.jpg
