MY TV WONT STAY ON. WE TURN IT ON IT TURNS OFF. WE DID THE RESET SYSTEM BUTTON.

when it shuts off and power light goes off do the self check this model has.

When green light (power) goes out, on front of set press and hold both the menu and Input buttons for at least 5 seconds and release both.

WATCH THE POWER LIGHT closely, the light should blink a two digit error code.

for example, 2 blinks, 2 blinks and a pause, it should repeat the code at least five times.

Let me know what code you detect and I will tell you what it means.

My Mitsubishi WT 46807 will not power up. The green light on the front stays on for approximately 2 seconds and then goes out with no audio or visual. I tried unplugging the set for about 15 minutes but...

yes!

When you turn set on and power light goes out do the self check this set has.

On front of set when light goes out press and hold both the Menu and Input (device) buttons at the same time and hold both for at least five seconds and then release both.

Power light will blink a two digit error code like 2 blinks,2 blinks, a pause and repeat it several times.

Let me know what error code you find and I will tell you what it means. Make a comment here and I will assist you.

Tv wont stay on

This set was made around 2000 and my first suggestion is when it shuts off if the power light on the front goes off due the self check it should have:

Press and hold both the menu and input buttons for 5 seconds and release both.

Power light should blink a two digit error code like: 2 blinks, 2 blinks, a pause and then it will repeat it at least a total of 5 times.

1,2 means no error detected and most common is 2,2 which is short protection (easy fix).

There are other possible issues but knowing if there is a error being detected will tell me and you a lot.

Do the self check and comment here what you find---the site here is supposed to email me when you comment but there have been problems with this lately--you can either post another free question Attention SD TECH or email the site: support@fixya.com or the community manager at : Lauren@fixya.com.

I try to respond to every client but if the system does not inform me of a client it might be a day or two before I respond. If my help here and now has helped you know something you did not know, rate this solution as very helpful as I do this here for free.

Remember, I am here to help people like you.

TV is not responding

Your description does not tell me very much---You have a JVC AV-56WP74 and it does not work?

If the power light up front which is usually blue in color just blinks I can tell you a easy way to know exactly what is causing this problem.

If when you turn the set on the blue power light just blinks---that is short protection--most of the time a fairly cheap fix----LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU ACTUALLY HAVE GOING ON.

I am here to help---I do this here for free.

Do not hesitate to ask me for help or advice.

Regards, SD TECH
