You have bad solder connections on the vertical output integrated circuit. Since now nothing helps either the solder connections have become very bad OR the vertical output integrated circuit finally failed from the intermittent condition.

You had parts in the vertical deflection circuit failing, most common are the vertical output IC and possibly several capacitors also in the same circuit.

Front panel blocked or locked

RCA Entertainment Series 32" Plus Gold, GEMSTAR, xbox ready has been in the shop twice so far. Transformer replaced and 6 months later the picture suddenly had horizontal white lines that gradually spaced apart more from top to bottom and it had a gray hue and fuzzy, but I still watched it for 3 months that way. Today I turned it on and about a minute later I heard a loud crackling sound coming from the back and the picture disappeared, screen went black. Is it worth fixing again? Same Problem - Sony Trinitron picture dies out

You are probably dealing with loose solder connections in the horizontal and vertical deflection circuits. I am surprised it hasn't failed in a massive way yet. Too many times that is the way it ends unless those solder connections are taken care of.
Hope this helps,

Sony kv35s66: No picture, just sound and red blinking

This should be a quick fix. Try resoldering the vertical IC. This is a small flat IC attached to a heat sink with about 11 pins. It should be marked LA7837 or something similar. That should resolve the problem.

Keep us posted.

An oval-shaped rainbow-like colour pattern shows first, then, in a few minutes, picture starts to appear from the bottom and gradually extends towards the top thought never completely reach to top edge....

It May be due to one of several things. You could have some bad filter capacitors that are allowing electrical "noise" to disrupt the video, or there could be a bad solder connection or crack in the circuit board allowing a ground to "float", or there could be a problem in the Degaussing circuit, although that would be my last guess. I don't recall ever having that particular problem with any sets in my shop.

Picture stretched or "squeezed" inward from sides - black section on side.

Your problem is a common one and wht tells me this is when you wack the set. Theres a couple of coils that look like small towers that stand up and would have an L4#### number of some sort. They would be located toward the right side in the middle.. BUT for cryin out loud BE CAREFULL please!!!theres thousands of volts in a tv set. Oh and NO for sure this is not a Picture tube problem Good Luck
