Question about Coby MP-C552 MP3 Player

I cant turn on my mp3 theres just a lil red lite but no music

    when i connect my mp-c552 into my computer nothing happens. The red light lits up. The message does not indicate that new hardware is attached. Any advise? I tried contacting coby tech support. The customer service representative I spoke with was useless. So much for the coby advising to contact them before returning the item.

How do I reset my gpx mp3
Under windows explorer, click on the icon for the mp3 player. On the mp3 player, switch between the Usb and Mtp mode (The M button). You should see songs from both modes.

a lil late, but here goes.............keep downloading your music via limewire.....now plug your mp3 to pc....go to my computer open the new drive (mp3)...also open the folder that has all your downloaded music in it...now copy & paste (or click & drag) from folder to mp3.....have fun....feel free to rate the help

I just dropped it on the ground till it turned off than i plugged it into my computer and it worked...>.> sorry if this sounds ridiculous :(

if you disconnect your mp3 player, does the screen still appear white and can you turn it on or off?
i had the same problem, basically it freezes because it is busy downloading music or placing music where it is suppost to be. but if you cannot turn it off after you have unplugged it, you should take off the back cover and take out the battery. place the battery back in, and replace the cover and it should be able to turn back on without a white screen.
