- I just got a Dynex as a gift with no book or information. I have a direct tv remote that works somewhat but will not turn on or off and the volume does not work. I tried to program the remote with every suggestion and number combination I could find,nothing works. THE CODE FOR DYNEX TV'S USING A DIRECT TV REMOTE IS 10463. THEY ARE AFFILIATED WITH SANSUI. THEY USE THE SAME CODES.

I have a 26" Dynex LCD TV and the dish remote code for the TV is 720. Hope this helps!

THIS BEING A NEW MODEL TV MY DIRECT REMOTE DO NOT HAVE THE CODE & IT SAYS FIND ANOTHER MODEL THATS COMPATIBLE, WHICH MODEL IS COMPATIBLE TO DYNEX?

Code 0490 does not work for me. Several codes allow me to turn the volume up but I can not turn the volume down using the direct tv remote. The mute button also does not work. Any other suggestions out there?
