no video
unplug it
you have to take the top and back panel off
take photos of how the belt is fitted before removal

see what holds the belt on or stops it from coming off

undo what is required and fit the new belt
then reverse all the take apart steps till it is fitted

HOW TO FIT A DRUM BELT ON A TUMBLE DRYER KELVINATOR

Normally you loosen the bolts to the motor after fitting the belt around the drum. DON'T try to streach the belt to fit over the motor pullery.

How do I fit the new belt

You give no information on your machine, but normally you need to obtain access to the complete circumference of the drum to fit the belt. Depending on your machine you can either remove the front of the dryer, or release the rear bearing support so that you can slide the new belt over the drum. The belt then just slips over the motor pulley and you need to check on the belt tension, usually done by adjusting the motor.

Dryer works but drum will not go round also the belt is perfect so it is not that

is the belt a good tight fit on the drum??? is the motor turning? can you turn the drum by hand? if you cant turn the drum by hand its likley to be drum bearings stuck up or sezed up motor?

Simpson Maxidry Tumble dryer (Cloths dryer) How

Hi there, There is a switch at the bottom of the dryer. It has a groove for the spring to fit around. Then the spring goes through the metal tag with the holes in the pulley. The pulleys 2 prongs then fits into the slot near the motor. The belt goes through the pulley and around the motor wheel. When fitting the drum, tape the belt at three points on the drum with the machine door facing down making installation easier. Once installed remove the tape. The dryer now works like a dream. See the attached photo. Good Luck!8e72e75.jpg

Is60v belt replacement. The replacement belt seems difficult to fit.size/ belt number checked against old one & details are the same. What is the method of replacing / refitting the belt?

The belts do appear to be undersize, this is because they are a stretch belt, and this makes them very difficult to fit.
Remove the top cover and right hand side panel of dryer, this will give you access to the belt.
Move the front panel forward to fit the new belt on the drum, and then you really have to pull hard down on the belt to get it round the motor pulley.
It is very difficult.
Good luck.

KENMORE SERIES 80 DRYER..The Tensioner use it or not and how?

To fit the new belt, you will need the idler pulley (tensioner)...

The idler pulley fits in the slots on the bottom of the cabinet (in front of the motor) with the wheel or glide facing the left side. Place the belt (grooves inward) around the drum. Pull the belt through the middle of the idler pulley from the left side. Once the belt is pulled through the idler pulley, pull it around the motor pulley (this should force the idler pulley to "open up" and add tension).

If you still need help, I will try to provide you with a diagram shortly.
Good luck!

I need to fit a new belt to a Creda Tumble Dryer

There should be some kind of tensioner around the motor or one of the pully's. The other problem could be that the belt you bought is the wrong one for your model. If you still have the old belt, measure the new belt against the old one and the new belt should be slightly smaller. I hope this info helps.
