How do I find working XP video card drivers for a Gateway TA7/ Viper-SR laptop/tablet?

are you sure about the driver/chip? You may need to double check - was this an upgrade/ change of OS from a Vista machine? Or could it be direct x? read below.... otherwise I have no idea sorry ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2300 csm_ati_radeon_chip_05_e8206cf22f.jpgThe Mobility Radeon HD 2300 graphic card for laptops is the successor of the X1300 and supports only DirectX9 (according the informations of the AMD homepage). The performance shall be somewhat above the X1300 and therefore present average or worse game performance. AMD / ATI tells that the relation of performance/Watt has been improved. Rumours tell that the chip is only a renamed X1300 / X1350 video chip.
A difference to the X2300 are the amplified video options (UVD).

Need hp DV6 -6b56etx drivers for windowsxp professional 32 bit

You can download the device drivers from Dell WEB site, the support download page. Make sure you select your model desktop or laptop, better still, type in the Service Tag number, it is printed on the label on thebottom of the laptop and on the back or sides of a desktop. (If the Service Taglabel is missing then go into the BIOS setting and on one of the BIOS pages, the Service Tag number will be displayed). This will open the page where thespecific drivers for your model computer are located. Also make sure you selectthe Windows of the drivers for your Windows operating system. Instal ATI driver and utility, choose advanced mode in it, choose power, choose switchable graphics method,
i chose manually and not application needs based, Apply & close, on the desktop choose right click and chose configure switchable graphics. Click on high performance GPU (radeon) or Power sawing GPU (Intel HD)

Compaq Evo N610c need video driver upgrade

Nevermind, I just looked up the system requirements for Hoyle 2009. The requirements for the computer video card is a minimum of 64MB of Video RAM, which you may not have in the laptop. If you don't have a 64MB+ video card, it won't work. If you do have a 64MB+ video card, but don't have the correct driver installed, you can get the drivers you need by going to Windows Updates and letting Microsoft install it for you.

Laptop dispalys to monitor but laptop panel cannot be activate

Hi,

Thanks for all the details..

The issue seems to be with the video card drivers here...

Go to www.hp.com/suport and download the latest video card and the chipset drivers

before you download ...uninstall the nvidia chipset or any display software from program and features.

after you have installed the software.. go to the nvidia control panel > setup multiple monitors. and browse throughout the options >
It should be dual display and not extended display.

Also try with a new user profile...

Hope this helps..
Regards,
Anup

Monitor went to sleep and won't wake up

It sounds like a driver issue, but more likely the monitor driver, not the video card, since the other monitor works properly.
If you go into the video properties, check the monitor settings. You should be able to switch it to a generic monitor. You also need to make sure that you have the correct monitor refresh frequency set. If you have a mis-match, the video card could send signals at a rate the monitor can;t handle, which is why it won't "wake" even after a reboot and might need to be unplugeed to get it to come back on.
