Sounds like you need to use the recovery discs to load the software back on the drive if you made them,when the pc starts to boot up it should display a certain key for you to enter recovery,possibly F11 ,do that and follow the prompts,be aware though that this will wipe all your data off the drive & set it up as it was when first purchased,if infact it is still on the recovery partition.
