On/Off switch won't work.....I had taken the top... (by 2 users)

Hi,
When I removed the top section of the vacuum (in order to clean it), the on/off flip switch dropped out. I tried to reinsert it (with great difficulty), but now I can't position it so that it actually makes contact with the button that is on the inside of the vacuum. Any suggestions??? Thanks
Marge

Problem solved. I discovered an inner metal rod that I needed to put back into the proper position. After I did this, everything was fine. Thanks
Marge
