Question about SanDisk Sansa Clip MP3 Player
Hi,my 2G clip does not seem to be recognised by myWMPv11.
I have vista and have tried changing the usb settings on the clip however the player just doesn't want to know.
I am able to drag and drop ok and the clip plays well but would like to be able to synch it.
Any advice appreciated guys.
Ps,THE CLIP DEFINTELY HAS LATEST FIRMWARE INSTALLED.
Make sure the songs you are trying to sync do not have DRM-encryption on them. Converting to mp3 format is the best way to make them sync-able. Otherwise, you can find DRM removal software.
Also, reformat the player in Windows Media Player 11 - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything. Your player should be sync-able in WMP-11 now.
