My Sharp AR-M205 copies are showing a light duplicate image (light printed words) in the margin of the page. Very strange. What can cause this?

Hi, i suppose you mean the copier meter reading. There are two ways one is for the copies made and the other for prints made. Press and hold # for reading prints made and press and hold 0 for copies made. Read the six digits that appears and record on a sheet of paper as they start and thats the reading. To know daily readings, subtract the figure for evening from the one for morning and the difference is your reading.

It cannot print with win 7.apply win xp and enjoy.

Install the developer unit and toner cartridge properly and close the copier side covers well ie the front and the right covers.

get the error code as H2.

Sounds like your tray settings are incorrect. Make sure that if the tray is set to 8 1/2 X 11 in the menu settings(not 8 1/2 X 11R) that the paper is set in the tray to feed the long edge first. The machine is capable of automatically rotating the image to fit the paper as long as the paper is set correctly.
If you prefer to feed short edge first then set it for 8 1/2 X 11R.

Postscript is an added extra on most Sharps, therefore it wont support Pdf, try printing as an image in the advanced tab, this sometimes works

Looks like it may be a memory communication error. See the clip from the service manual below. May require technician to diagnose.
