cant give an answer to that to many variables ---what harness [s] 1-2-all----- type of harness pcm--- bcm ----condition of work area working around fire damage / accident damage / rusted ----notify a body shop --dealer service dept --auto center -- or even an insurance agent they have access to cost and labor for repair broken down they can give you an answer as to the hourly time allowance to replace parts
check your trunk lock mechanism. it might not be locking properly and not seating right due to rear damage and trunk lights are on and that can drain the battery overnight. have it adjusted.
I am speculating but it seems unlikely the garage replaced the gas struts and if your trunk lid was ok before the accident, then it seems possible it came out of the bodyshop with worse gas lift struts than it went in with.
If insurance paid for the repair it would be good to write your problem and suspicions and share them with the insurance company.
the purpose of buying a wiring harness is for plug and play. You can do this but you MUST be relatively technically inclined.
If this is done incorrectly, you may destroy your reciever.
My recommendation is to purchase a wiring harness. Less Headaches, and the companys prosper haha.
Hope that was some help :)

this of course could have bent the fuel pump bracket inside the tank or damaged the wiring that supplies it power, stand by your guns, if it worked before the accident then it is accident related, I have had this kind of argument with a few insurance companies, and they always say no until u really pour it on, ask to speak to a supervisor, forget the little claims agent go over his head, it works, just be persistant..
