How do I fix a F53 fault on a Miele W3740 Washing Machine

First, unplug the washer for minutes then plug in and see if it solve the problem, if not then check the carbon brushes on the motor. These are a part which is expected to wear and when they do the motor cannot rotate the drum, which means the speed sensor thinks something is wrong and throws the error.good luck. How to fix Miele WT2670. No issue in doing the wash, but when it comes to drying, it seems to be stuck in the last 12 minutes . Then eventually the machine stops, but the clothes are still not dry

perhaps the timer has gone bad many times the washer does not spin out as fast as they should thereby making the dryer work even harder to dry the clothe completely .

Novotronic washer w1918 jumps violently when transitioning from main wash to rinse 1-2 with 21 minutes to go to end of wash cycle

If the problem is consistent, FIRST check to make your machine is level. Also try cleaning the machine out with no clothes in it using white vinegar on a hot wash. If you're having a problem with high speed spin with NO load in it, it could be shaft/bearing related which would probably be too expensive to fix. Otherwise you could simply just be adding loads incorrectly or overloading it.

There's no delay start on our new Miele W3740 washing machine. Can we use an electronic timer in the plug socket to delay the program start (cheap night-time use of electricity)? Thank you. Gerald

yes you could use a delay plug if it dont over rate the plug,,,check how many watts your washer pulls and how many watts the delay plug can handel first,,,if its more than the delay plug can take dont try it or you may just have a fire on your hands,,
even with cheap electricity is it worth that?

My front load washing machine shakes violently in the final spin cycle. It is brand new and sits level.

Check the Vibration damper rods to be sure that...
1. They are there and mount is solid.
2. If they are broken in 1/2.
3. The plastic knuckle mounts are not missing/broken.
4. There is oil in the shock absorber/spring section of the rods.

Also - there are suspension springs on the bottom of the tub that could be broken and/or missing.

Replace/repair as necessary.

Also - be sure the drum locking (transit) pins were removed by the installer.

Transit struts need taking off a miele w3748

The struts are just turned about 90 degrees and pulled from the rear - make sure you keep these in case the machine is to be moved - they need to be reinstalled
