LG does not show the 1750 monitor on their web site. It did show some discontinued monitors including a 1752, but there was no information available about them.

Another LG site said to use the far right bottom to auto adjust....for another monitor.

My HP has four buttons, MENU, <, >, and Return (also AUTO). Menu opens the monitor dialog box, with the arrow bottoms shifting through the menu. Select an item with return, then arrow to your selection, menu is also your exit button.

You may have a power saving selection here.

Also check the control panel for the POWER OPTIONS properties. A power scheme selection here will also change the mode of your monitor.

good luck

How to disable powersave on lenovo Thinkcentre 9645

You need to enter the bios when it powers up and disable the power saving settings.

I think its the f11 key or del key to enter the bios immediately you see a display screen when you switch it on then navigate to the power saving settings area in the bios.

LG Flatron L177WSB-how would I use my newly purchased unit after switching it on, LG logo appears followed by the Power Saving Mode it all goes black on the screen.

Hi, the Power Saving Mode, turns the screen off to conserve energy. On the remote, press Menu, and scan to Power Saving Mode. You can change the amount of time, when the Screen turn-off, the TV shut-off etc. You can set the time to (5 min) to, (never, turn-off). This should help with your problem. Thanks paul7of9

LG stuck in powersave mode

Connect it to a different computer, e.g., a notebook computer,
and set the screen-resolution to 800-by-600, and see if the monitor works.
Change the screen-resolution to 1024-by-768, and try again.

How do i getr the creen out of analog power save

Usually hitting a button on the keyboard or moving the mouse works.

If it is really a problem go into your display settings through the control panel, access the power options and stop your monitor from going into powersave mode.

THE COMPUTER IS IN A POWER SAVING MODE

I think you mean, your display is in power saving mode, this happens when there is no signal from the computer - the display then goes to powersaving mode, try restarting your computer, if it doesn't turn on the display. try the display on another computer to see if your display works.

if your display works with anohter computer, try it again on the problem machine, if its still in the power saving mode, then its not turning on, the computer is not turning on-

I would suggest to get a local friend or a tech to look into your computer and find the issue, if your handy with screwdrivers and know your way inside the computer, then you could take the case open and reseat the memory. try without any memory, then try with just one memory module. Then put them all back in, if this doesn't help, its not a memory related problem.

to save time i recommend you take the computer to a local professional.
