Question about Computers & Internet
The computer freezes as soon as you turn it on giving you the beginning acer screen with two options:- Press Enter for Setup & Press F12 for Boot menu. None of these options work because the system is frozen and the only recovery disk we got with the PC is a blank dvd-r
If you don't mind losing all of your data, get a windows XP install disc, boot from it, and see if you can install a new copy of the operating system. If this is not an ooptuion, google "Bart PE" download this program, run it and let it burn to a CD. Next boot from said CD, and run the command prompt. now type in "CHKDSK C:/r" and let this run. Once it finishes, take the disk out and reboot. THis should fix the problem, best of luck dude ;)
