Question about Sony KP-57WS500 57" Rear Projection Television
My picture tube has gone out on my Sony Trinitron 27", model # KV-27S26. What are the ramifications with replacing this versus the impending change in HD televisions that I am hearing about? If I replace the tube, does this mean I will have to purchase or rent a box from my cable provider to be able to even watch this television?
The correct box will be supplied for your set through the cable or satellite provider-No problem there, but what do you want with a 5 year old set other than placing bets on what will go out next? A pix tube is not cheap nor good insurance against future problems...accordianman
