I have a new Z310 and only gotten it to transfer the phonebook once to the car. In following the instructions both for the phone and the car. The process disconnects the bluetooth in the phone and does not complete the transfer.

RE: Transferring phonebook to another mobile phone?
you can do that by first activating your bluetooth under connectivity. once activated/on go ack to phonebook, click send via bluetooth.
Copying Phonebook Entries to Another Handset: You can transfer one phonebook entry at a time or all phonebook entries at once. 1) With the phone in standby, press the address book icon. 2) To copy one entry, find the phonebook entry you want to copy, press Menu /Select , and then select Copy. To copy all entries, press Menu /Select and then select Copy All. 3) Move the cursor to select the handset which you want to transfer the entries to and then press Menu /Select . If you select Copy All, Are you sure? appears on the display screen. Move the cursor to select Yes, and then press Menu /Select . 4) The phonebook entries will be transferred to the designated handset. During the copy process, the receiving handset shows Receiving and the ID of the sending handset. 5) When the transfer is completed, Done! appears on the handset.
Notes: • The handsets must be currently connected to the same base. • If the handset you want to transfer to already has seventy entries in its phonebook, you will hear a beep and Not enough memory in receiving unit appears on the display. • If the selected handset is out of range or data transfer is cancelled, Unavailable appears in the display, Phonebook listings will not be transferred.
If you want to transfer files from pc to the mobile device. Make sure the pc has a bluetooth turn on. Most of the laptops have a built in bluetooh , but for desktop computers you need to purchase a bluetooth adapter.
Once you have the bluetooh turn ON on your computer. Turn on the bluetooh on your mobile device.
From your computer. Right click on the file that you want to transfer and select send to bluetooth. Click on search for bluetooth device and then select the name of your cellphone ( or name you assigned for the bluetooth on your cellphone)Once you click the name, just go next . You will get a message saying accept bluetooh file on your cellphone, just accept the file and your done.
Open your contact list. Highlight any contact, then open the options menu. Select "9. Send Name Card". A new menu screen will open, select "4. Via Bluetooth". A new screen will open listing all contacts with empty boxes next to the names. Check the boxes next to the contacts you want to transfer, or if you select the options menu, you can choose to mark all. Click "done" then at the next screen, highlight the device to which you want to transfer the list (i.e. your car) and click the round button on your phone to send the data. Once that is done, click the transfer phone book button on your car bluetooth. This method worked with my Lexus.
if you have paired the 2 devices then all you need to do is go into phonebook , pick the number, then I think it is options and send via bluetooth.
the phone should then ask which device you wish to send it to and give you a list of options that it is paired to.
sellect your pioneer and send
Pioneer DEH-P65BT Jailbroken!! Iphone 3g FW: 3.1.2. Mac or PC (addressbook on Mac or Outlook on Win)
- Sync your contacts trough Itunes with your PC or Mac - Go to addressbook on Mac (or Outlook on win) and export all your contacts to a vcf file (Called Vcards in addressbook) - Copy the vcf file to your Iphone (iphoneExplorer / SSH / DiskAid or other solution) - Download iBluetooth (I used it from the Xsellize source) - Set up you radio to PhoneBook Transfer (Your phone is not connected to the radio at this point) - In iBluetooth browse to the VCards.vcf and send it to the Pioneer unit. - It now says transfer done and the phonebook is stored.
Posted this because it took me days to get it working. Haven't found a working solution on the net.
Also transfering the phonebook from another phone isn't a solution because however the phonebook will be stored it won't be usable by your iphone. The pioneer registers the phonebook to a device so it's absolutely necesarry to transfer it from the actual iphone (or send it from a laptop with a spoofed BT-Mac that matches your iphone)
