Unimac Washer uw60b20u80001. 0 Solutions ... on start up unlock door light stays on.display sa. Unimac ... washer has falt code E FL what does this mean and.
The FL error code means: Flood Condition: FL flashes if any overfill condition occurs. This condition occurs when excessive water in the tub causes the overfill switch to trip. The control must realize that the trip was due to an overfill condition instead of a suds lack condition in order for FL to be displayed
With an overfill condition, the beeper repeats a warning every 10 seconds with no time-out. The pump is cycled in drain mode for 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off until the overfill switch resets or power is discontinued to the unit.
Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display.
This problem I see on these are the water pumps getting clogged with lint or other things, causing the pump not to pump all of the water out at times.
There is a check "valve" in the drain assembly that seems to sometimes cause problems with the FL error code. You can remove this piece, and might avoid changing the pump.
This means that your Washer has somehow Over Filled with water and will "FL"ood if it does not drain the excess water:
It should also be beeping every 10 seconds and the pump should start to empty some water to rectify the issue. Restart the machine machine as required or push the overfill reset switch. To avoid flooding, you might need to temporarily shut the water supply if water continues to flow in the machine while the "FL" code is displayed. Hope it helps let me know how you go.
Fl means flood
you either have a bad flood switch or something is in the pump.
the pump is located under the washer
if you where to tip back and remove the 3 5/16 inch screws and look to the very right you will see the pump.
it could be these 2 things and or it could be something in your sump balls. which you would need special tools to gain access to.
let me know if this helps

"FL" on the display apparently means "full" and apparently occurs when
the message-recording capacity of the system can accept no further
messages! So when you hit 20 or 21, you need to get rid of some
to make room for more coming in. Well, duh! --On the other
hand, this really should be addressed in the Owner's Manual, which
makes no mention of same (that I could find).
FL means that the full amount of space on the card is available...it doesn't give you an amount like say the d70 which says you have , say, 1.1K available of space...the d21x goes in reverse and starts counting how many pics you have taken...the FL becomes a number at 99 and goes down from there depending on how many pics you take.So you then end up with a number on top instead of FL and a number below indicating how many pics you have taken.
