Hello, It is a rotor position sensor code. The control is no longer receiving a signal from the motor. It can be a failed sensor or control, but usually it is a bad connection where the wires plug on to the sensor.

May be the pressure starter is faulty kindly replace the pressure starter the problem will be solved

there is a rotor position sensor failure.look under the top hood of washer on the inside of the front of washer and you will find a tech sheet that will help with this problem use a flat blade to push two clips in to get hood up.

Please see the following Whirlpool Cabrio installation and service manual, the Oasis is essentially the same washer.

The F and 51 code relates to the motor rotor.

"F then 51 flashes when there is a motor rotor position sensor (RPS) failure. See TEST #3."

The "test #3 is a bit complicated but can be completed if you are reasonably comfortable with test equipment.

F-51 points to a "motor rotor position sensor (RPS) failure or lower harness problem.

if you are handy with troubleshooting using a multimeter, there are steps here (www.servicematters.com) under technical reference to help you. just enter 27082 as the model number.

Our washer did the same but it was after I took the excess drain hose and pushed it into the drain in the wall. I thought it looked "more tidy" In doing so I created a siphon effect. Once I pulled the excess hose back out it was fine.

On Kenmore F51 means Motor RPS Failure, the motor is not spinning or the motor sensor detects a fault.First unplug the power cord for one hour or so to check if it is a jammed sensor, and see if reset.

if not under warr. You must replace sensor on bottom of tub along with the wiring harness. This is a common problem with these.
