Question about Washing Machines
Iam trying to find out the APPROXIMATE number of gallons a 10 year old Whirlpool top load washer consumes per cycle. I do not have the model number but i know its a Large capacity, commercial quality model. My water bills are astronomical and I need to get a handle on water consumption.
Hello. The older top load washers use up to 60 gallons of water per load. That said, also check your toilets as a leaking toilet can use tens of thousands of gallons per year. Here is a link that explains how to check your toilets and other items for leaks. Regards, Joe
