Question about HP OfficeJet 4255 All-In-One InkJet Printer
This is the error message. Yet , I don't see a jam.
clear carriage jam for H.P 4255 all-in-one
If you have opened the paper moving roller, it may not be fitted properly.
There exist a circular timing strip on the left side of mechanism which actually senses the roller movement and position.
If the circular strip is not put properly between the sensors, the sensors willl read no movement even if the rollers are moving. Logically it means a 'jam' so it is dispalyed over.
Please place the circular strip properly between sensors.
The problem will be resolved.

I have same problem with my printer ( 4255 All in one), I have checked first for any paper jam in feeder, Backdoor. Then i reinstalled my cartridges, & restated my HP 4255 Printer. I hope your problem will be solved.
