1a. Using which web-server?  IIS, Apache?

    or

    2. Publish it to a web server e.g. Google Pages
    seehttp://pages.google.com

When doing a website. You have to own web space. A place owned by you either by your ISP provider, or space purchased through www.networksolutions.net.

Creating a website is one thing, but you have to upload it to a webserver which is owned by you.

A lot of people buy web space or like mentioned above, are given web space by your Internet Provider. If your internet provider does offer free web space with an account with them, find out where the space is, what your log in information is, and what the "ftp" server name is or what the htpp:// information is. They will provide you with that information. Once you have that information, and you click publish, there will be a screen come up where you will have to fill in the information and submit.

I hope this helps you

If you are getting "web page not found" error message, then you are not connected to the internet. Are you using PdaNet as the tethering program? You should have this installed on both the phone and your computer.

Need some help with ms publisher 2007 Basically I am able to send files to the remote server, and link with Microsoft Publisher, but am not able to publish to the web i created a website in...

A few things you need. Publisher will FTP to your web site ? ?
Who's hosting your site... not your name. If Register.com is your hosting company, you need to check out the settings needed to put into Publisher to FTP (File Transfer Protocol) to your site and the correct name of the main web folder like public_html . You need the login name and password to your web page.

Upload my web pages

Dear friend you can check any web address in www.whois.net

goto this website and check your address in part: "Domain LookUp"

I checked that before and this address (online-education.com) is not available, it means that someone else toke it before you.But I suggest you check it by the address above, because it will suggest you other available webaddress like onlineeducation.net (it's really available now, and you can get it!)

For publishing there are many ways to do that. You can do it by Dreamweaver or Frontpage softwares.Or you can do it by some FTP softwares like Smart FTP, Core FTP, FTP explorer, Turbo FTP and ... . Download one of them and publish your web pages.

But the simples way is to use your browser (IE, FireFox)

Note: Each domain maybe has a folder named "www" or "root" if you see this folder it means that you have to publish your web pages in this folder.DON'T delete this folder!

Anyway, maybe you didn't get how to publish your web pages, this is my mail address: hussein@fardinfard.com and this is my Yahoo ID: l_finalcut_l

Please send me mail or leave a message in yahoo messanger I'll help you step by step.Don't worry!
At your service

Good luck
