My computer screen has just started to blink a blue and white lock on the screen. You can not click on it at the cursor goes right through it. It flashes in the locked position and then changes to the unlocked postion.

Sounds like one of your button on the front of the monitor is stuck in or some liquid got into the front button assembly, from cleaning possibly?

ASUS EeePC 900A- black screen blinking cursor

The hard drive has issues, or the window files are corrupt. I suggest a computer repair store to retrieve files and test hardware.

Gx620 boots up, then screen goes blank, reboot gives blank screen with cursor blinking. will boot with cd but still shuts down after a minute or two.

Remove the battery and open the case. Look inside the computer with a flashlight to see if any of the capacitors are busted or leaking from corrosion. The capacitors look like little battery towers, but they are not as tall as the AA or AAA batteries.

If the capacitors are bad, your computer goes bunkers.

Too many! Where do I start.... 1. The Wifi connection does not work, although blutooth is on and the blue indicator light is illuminated. 2. When the pc is idle for some time, the screensaver does not...

This can happen when there is two problems.. One the computer might have been affected by virus.. Or the other thing might be the OS corrupted.. Try to get into safe mode and check if the system is working fine.. If it works well there try to do a system restore to a place wr it was working well.. If in safe mode also it doesnt work well then go ahead and reinstall the OS...

You will find under window graphic controls you can no longer Print screen like when we used the LPT-1 ports.
so a work around is to copy and paste to word, word pad, publisher, almost anything that has a cursor blinking.

any way here goes, select (highlight) the area you want to print and if you want the whole page under edit click on select all....then put you arrow (cursor) on the blue part, right click and choose copy.
then open word, word pad and right click again and choose paste. then send that page to the ole printer...and viola...you done did dodit....
Hope this works for you my friend, good luck, please leave rating. thank you kindly
