Question about HP PSC 750 All-In-One InkJet Printer

HP PSC 750 All-in-One Won't print an envelope

MY HP PSC 750 All-in-One stopped printing envelopes. When I'm facing the printer to watch to see if it is going to print an envelope I've noticed that the printer is only printing on the left side only and the envelope slot is on the right so it misses the envelope. It's just started doing this lately & I even unintalled & reinstalled it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

How do i print envelopes on the HP 1350?

  • Remove all paper from the paper tray.
  • Slide an envelope into the tray, with the envelope flap up and to the left (print side down), until it stops.
  • Adjust the paper-width guide against the envelope.
  • Be careful not to bend the envelope.
  1. In Microsoft Word, click Tools , click Letters and Mailings , and then click Envelopes and Labels .
  2. In the Envelopes and Labels dialog box, click the Envelopes tab.
  3. Click Options .
  4. From the Envelope size drop-down list, select the required paper size. If you created a custom paper size, select the new custom paper size from the drop-down list.
  5. Click OK , and then click Close to close the Envelopes and Labels dialog box.
  6. Click File , and then click Print to print the envelope.

Envelopes get jammed Is there an upper tray? Word tells me in envelope printing set up that I should be feeding envelopes from upper tray face up for my printer model.

I had lots more problems with envelopes until I made sure to adjust the guides on the left over to where they touch the envelopes.

My HP 1350 will not print cards/envelopes from the right side of the printer. They have to be loaded on the right but the printer keeps printing in the center.

Printing envelopes with an HP 1350:
If you use MS Word, select ENVELOPES. When address window appears, select OPTIONS on right > select PRINTING OPTIONS > select FEED METHOD option on far right (envelope placed on right of tray face down); select FACE DOWN; select FEED FROM UPPER TRAY. The only problem I have with this is that the address prints off in the lower quarter of the envelope rather than in the center of the envelope as we would write it manually. I am currently working on solving that problem.

Here is a how-to for the printer, but I'm not sure if you mean the printer, or in a program.

Printing envelopes

If you look closely at the very front of the paper tray, just to the left of the sliding thing that keeps the paper from drifting out of the front, you will see a couple of illustrations showing how to position envelopes in the paper feeder. For regular letter-sized envelopes, or even greeting card envelopes, place them face down with the top of the envelope pointing to the left as you are facing the printer. The return address area should be away from you. Position the envelope all the way to the right side of the paper feeder, then gently slide the envelope all the way back until it is stops so that it is accessible by the paper feeder. Bear in mind that it will be flipped over when it comes out. To avoid wasting an envelope, do a trial print on a piece of paper to make sure you understand the positioning correctly. Good luck!

marglet, Turn-off and unplug the printer for a couple of minutes...there may be improper setting stuck in the printer memory. then plug it in and try to print the envelopes..if that doesn't work...Make sure there aren't any custom print settings causing this. Lastly...Try updating the drivers. Download the latest drivers from the site. http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/search/search_request.do?pageName=HP+printers_land Good Luck, Tim
