Three green & two red indicate blub and or fan malfunction, in my case it was the blub !

When turned on green light flashes and no picture


Check the Lamp if no picture, audio may be present. Screen is completely dark. Lamp LED flashes 2X every 5 seconds, Power LED flashes GREEN for 140 seconds then flashes RED.

The tv will not come on . The power led is blinking 3 greens and then 2 reds. I have changed the light but still can not get the tv to do anything. I can't even shut the power off with the buttons.


Most likely its not the lamp thats bad but the color wheel is stuck. Check if the color wheel starts or not. You can make this out from the typical dlp switching on whine. If you have already changed the lamp, and there is no color wheel start noise, you have a bad color wheel.

Sharp 56DR650 won't turn on


the 32 message indicates lamp issues. Buy a new lamp with new cage and that should fix the problem.

Sharp 56DR650 shows power but wont turn on, Sometimes it turns on


That's error code 32. Indicates lamp trouble or failure. The system will shut down automatically.

Sharp DLP No picture


i have a 56DR650 and it does them same thing. It is still under warranty but where i bought it, they said they can no longer fix it so they are giving my money back. the problem has to do with the color wheel inside.

No picture, but power is on...


How many times does the POWER led blink per sec? (dont worry about the OPC)

2x = power supply (not as expensive to fix)
3x = Main board (expensive to fix)
