When I power on the tv, the green power light flashes then goes back to red. I have no idea what the problmen is

tv tries to load up flashes green then goes back to red with only a black screen what's the problem

Eact same problem. Green light flashes for about 20 seconds then goes back to red.

When I push the power button the green light flashes for about 30 seconds then goes back to red. Sometimes it takes several tries before I can get the TV to turn on. I've noticed that if I unplug it for a few seconds that it usually turns on the next time.

Agree with Batto23. Just replaced the lamp (about $150) and everything is fine. Thanks.

hello I found out what is the problem, the only thing we need to do is to change the light bulb on the right hand on the TV, I purchase the light bulb at Ebay part # TOSHIBA TBL4-LMP for 109.99, i got the light bulb today, it took me about 20 minute to change the bulb, and now is working again back to normal.
thank god cause i like my toshiba 44nhm84 tv.
