green light flashes then goes red after about a minute. No picture no sound.

When I push the power button the green light flashes for about 30 seconds then goes back to red. Sometimes it takes several tries before I can get the TV to turn on. I've noticed that if I unplug it for a few seconds that it usually turns on the next time.

I had turned my tv on and it was fine, it was taking its normal time to boot up and get its full color clarity. When I had went onto my DVR tv recorder to watch something and started to fastforward to where i had left off at, all while the clarity was still faintly warming up, all of the sudden i heard a weird sound almost like a bulb when it shatters but kinda soft hearing. The next thing I know my tv had turned off. I tried turning it on and it started making its normal booting up sounds all with the power light blinking green, and then nothing it turns red and shuts down. I have tried rebooting only about 5 times even unplugged for a while and then tried, but still same problem. I have quit trying to turn on so it doesn't damage or lead to other problems that I don't need. Althogh the tv is about 4.5-5 years old and was branned new when I bought it, it has very little watch hours on it. I did buy the extended 5 year warranty but don't know if it is up yet. Can any one let me know what this problem may or may not be, and where i could look to find out if my warranty is still good because original papers got lost, but I did buy it at ABC Wherehouse so it should be in their computer records. PLEASE ANYONE THAT CAN HELP ME DO SO!!!!!! P.S. it is NBA & NHL PLAYOFFS starting and iI am without a tv for the time being!!! you can reach me at dangel4405@yahoo.com to give me assistance. THANK YOU!!!

Trying to replace lamp in HDTV and having trouble. Does not function correctly after putting in new bulb. Boots up and then visuals go black and the green power light keeps flashing. Help?

Panasonic DLP TV Bulbs

Make sure its an original Osram or Philips bulb inside the housing. If its a cheap lamp it will act this way. If it is an original lamp, then you may have a power supply issue. It shouldn't affect your TV but you may want to try resetting the lamp timer by following the instructions that came with the lamp.

TY-LA1001 Timer reset

While pressing the VOL- button on the projection display, hold down the number 0 button on the remote control at the same time for more than 5 seconds.

Rca tv L46WD22 and green light followed by 5 red flashing lights

These blinks (Flashes) are fault indication, and known as blinking codes. From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON; you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. This will make repair easy. For more information, check these link s

We have a 2007 Sony Bravia 46" KDL-46VL130. There is not sound or picture. When we power it on the green light comes on blinking once and then the red light blinking once and then the green light stays on....

Does the front light stays green ? Or goes back to red ? The back-light going on/off maybe the problem, but it shoul return with a red blinking led (4 times ?) and if so it can be a power inverter problem.

The power supply is down . Sylvania power is very simple went you take the back off you should see the two bad capsitators on the board.Just replace them with same value .
