I have a Jensen vx7010. How do I bypass the parking brake inhibitor?

I found a .pdf user\'s manual that states:

"When the pink \'Parking\' wire is connected to the vehicle Parking Brake circuit, the front TFT monitor will display video when the Parking Brake is engaged. "

So I imagine it\'s a simple disconnect of the pink parking wire. However, I would not recommend this as it seems to be illegal if you are caught with the video running while you\'re driving.

Need a code to by pass parking brake feature

usually not a code. it is unlawful to drive without the parking brake feature hooked up.... but the way to do it is remove the wire from the parking brake and ground it. it will then think the parking brake is on

Not getting my dvd player to work on my car stereo because its saying that i have to set my parking brake. What should i do?

In most venues, it is illegal to have a working video display in the driver's field of view; in other words, they have locked access to the display unless the vehicle is not moving. Making a video display available to a driver in a vehicle that is underway is even worse than texting while driving.

You should have a wire on the harness labeled Parking Brake (or similar). This wire needs to be connected at the parking brake....or to a toggle switch. It needs to sense a ground after the radio is powered on in order to play DVDs.

Brown parking line

4 months and nobody answered this for ya?? This unit is designed to prevent video operation while the vehicle is in motion, connect the brown parking wire to the parking brake indicator. Or, to bypass the safety application, simply connect the brown parking wire to the ground wire.
