I want to take the face of the washing machine off to see if there is a clog. i saw the repair man had done so the first time out here to unclog the drain. now i cant figure out how to take it apart myself...where are the screws to take off the front

I've got a Hotpoint First Edition WM52 that stopped spinning at the end of the wash cycle. Called the repair man and he said it was most likely just the filter blocked? Suggested I reemove the front base panel and try to locate the filter remove, clean and replace. Front panel wouldn't come off, base panel at the rear, 6 screws to remove revealing a black squeezy hose with slide grips holding them on, on removal of the hose two ten pence pieces, a one pence piece and a childs hair clip blackened with dirt sat blocking the top of the hose. Hope this helps; repair man saved me £58+vat just with a few words and a bit of persistence from myself
