LG 24 LD-14AW2 HE ERROR - THE E IS FLASHING

I have all sorts of problems with this dishwasher. I have previously had this same error and had to have a serviceman come out and repair it. This was only just over 12 months ago. He said that a part of the heater needed to be replaced and he had never seen one so bad. I have also had the IE error and an OE error with this machine. Both requiring serives. I have paid for this dishwash now twice and would like to not have to spend any more on it if needed. Does anybody know how we can fix this problem ourselves.

tHANKS FOR TRYING BUT IT DOES NOT SEEM TO BE A PROBLEM WITH THE TABLETS OR POWDER THAT I AM USING - THE ERROR DOES NOT COME UP IF THERE IS NO HEATER BEING USED.

Try using only 2 teaspoons of soap powder (not tablets)

Dishwasher wont start

Most likley problem is the door is not closing properly or the door latch switch is faulty. This means the dishwasher controller is not getting the right signal before commencing the wash cycle.
Need to check the closure of the latch. If this is ok then replace the door switch.

LG dishwasher LD-14AW2 starts up & tries to drain for about 2 mins & then the alarm comes on. The wash, rinse & dry lights are flashing. The hose is raised and not blocked because we can blow...

Hi Jeff - am not too savvy with LG - am a Electrolux/Miele serviceman is it possible to gain access to the drain pump from inside the unit? I think it does sound like there is a restriction somewhere perhaps the pumps not running freely.

To check you pour water inside , take the drain hose , operate machine to see how good the flow of the drain is, rule of thumb if you cover the outlet no flow then the problem.

hope this is a start..

I hav a lg Dishwasher model # LD-14AW2 the problem

broken door cord. remove side panels and relace. this is a cheap and easy fit. make sure you replace both sides at the same time, you will most likely find it is only one side broken at this stage, but the cords do not last very long.<!-- from fixya rte -->

LG ld-14aw2 dishwasher

IE is inlet error, displayed when "Not reached to the normal water level in spite of 10 min. water supply"

Possible cause:

  • The Water Supply Tap is closed.
  • The Water Supply is shut off.
  • The Inlet Hose is kinked.
  • The Water Pressure is very low.(below 10 psi)
  • Inlet Valve is OK?
  • The filter of Inlet Valve is clogged by impure water.
  • The Hall sensor is OK?
  • The Impeller of Air Guide is bound.
Remedy:

  • Take action on Water Supply device.
  • Measure the electric resistance of Inlet Valve. (950-1300 )
  • Clean the filter of Inlet Valve.
  • Check the frequency of Inlet Water by the Test Mode.
  • Replace the Air Braker.

LG Dishwasher

Had a similiar problem I tried reducing water pressure from water inlet (external to dishwasher) and this worked to a certain degree, although may result in being unable to fill, if you turn down too far. Water silencer (try plumbing stores) was fitted between mains and dishwasher and this fixed the problem.<!-- from fixya rte -->

LG LD-14AW2 (03 error)

agreed O3 is not a LG error code. OE is more likely and if so it could be the main pcb faulty, a blocked drain pump or a blocked spigot under the sink where the drain hose connects onto.

take care.
