Question about Garmin StreetPilot c340 GPS Receiver
Well when i drive it's designed to say the street names and it's not and I'm not so sure on how to do it. I tried everything should i reset the whole device or is there a certain setting. Well Please get back to me my E mail is Kittycat18ktt@aol.com Thanks i appreciate it.
You do not have to reset the whole device. There is a setting you have to adjust to get the unit to speak street names. You have to go to the button on the bottom of the screen that looks like a wrench. Press this. You should see a button marked "Locale" or "Languages." Press this, then look for the spoken language button. It might say, "American English" Press this, then select a language with "(TTS)" next to it. This stands for Text to Speech and will allow the unit to speak street names.
