Question about Nintendo Wii Console

Guitar Hero III skipping

When I play Guitar hero III (legends of rock), it sometimes skips. We bought this game late December. My sister claims that it was doing this before (mid-January), but it hadn't done that to me. Then it started to do it to me just now.
The sound doesn't synch up with the picture, and it'll skip like a cd would. I took out the game, turned off the Wii completely, replaced the batteries (since it was apparently low) and I hope it works. But if anyone has any further information about this problem, I'd like to know. I haven't tried to see if it's working completely again, but even so, it could start up again at any time.

I apreciate the input.

Thanks. actualy, the first thing i did was check the bottom of the disk for dirt, dust, or scratchs, but there were none. I'll just have to keep a look out for skips in any of the other games

It's continuing to skip, but it's not as severe, but it's completly random

Skipping Cds are not uncommon however if the bottom of your Gutar hero three disk is clean and it starts to do it with other games then it could be a laser problem try cleaning the bottom of your Guitar hero disk that should resolve the problem.

We have a play station 2, and purchased the Guitar heros world tour game with it. Everything worked fine , then we purchased the guitar hero legends of rock and everything worked fine for a little while,...

i would suggest getting a new guitar for the Guitar Hero. if you do such things as excessively or harshefully drop it, wrap/ overextend the cord as to tearing the inside copper away causing a faulty electrical current, etc. damaging it, or applying too much pressure to the buttons. these will result in a malfunctioning guitar themed controller. bu a new one.

They are not compatible. The Rock Band 2 instruments are supposed to be compatible with Guitar Hero World Tour, but Rock Band and Guitar Hero III instruments don't work together.

Keep in mind that backwards compatibility is not 100% and no that controller will not work with the PS3...

Sure the other games work just fine but you are using a ps3 controller to play them correct??

Yes it is different. The same goes for trying to get a ps2 controller to work on a ps3, it's not gonna happen.

You need to get GH3 with the ps3 controller in order to rock out on the ps3....

For Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock guitar. Here is my question: We bought this game & guitar at microplay store on July 6th. Since then, our guitar makes a clic clic sound every time we press the...

As far as I know, ALL guitars for any Guitar Hero game on any console will click when you press the strum bar up or down. There's nothing wrong with it.

The guitars that do NOT click are for Rock Band and will not work with any Guitar Hero game with the exception of Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. If you download a patch, you can use the Rock Band Stratocaster but only on the XBox 360.

The clicking sound is actually very helpful for beginners as it is often used to "time" the notes.

So, bottomline: your guitar isn't broken :)

No data for guitar hero III

I'm using the slim... maybe it is the type of memory card but guitar hero is the only game I've had a problem with. I just restarted the game and then beat it over again. After it said that there wasn't any data and I chose to make a new one, it said that there was data but it was corrupt. Hopefully it doesn't happen again, but I haven't had any trouble since I started over the other one.
