Question about Casio Exilim EX-Z120 Digital Camera
The self timer in my Z120 is not working. When I set it to 10 seconds or 2 seconds self timer, once I press the shuuter, the lens would retrieve and shut down the camera.
Also, the power button of the camera is not working. I have been using the play/rec buttons to turn on and off. Not sure if this is related.
Any suggestions ?
I know it was a while ago now but I just found your post, the lens on mine broke yesterday but being a student I'm looking for someone with a broken identical camera with spare parts to fix it rather than buying a new one. Did you fix the camera, if not and it is lying around unused I would be very grateful if you would part with it so I can get mine working again. I am looking for a working lens

For capturing the images using
Self Timer, press the Down Arrow control
button continuously to select the desired mode. You can set the timer for 10
seconds and 2 seconds by pressing the continuously, If we press the button
again the Self Timer will be turned off.
Press the Shutter button, the
self-timer lamp flashes and a beep sounds until the shutter operates. To cancel
the self-timer, press the down arrow
button again. You can redice the risk of blur by using the 2-second delay
